{Detachable Collar}

Back to when I was getting ready to the longest 2 days of my university life {that time I participate in my university's bazar} among the things I made to sell, I tried to make some detachable collars. It was not a lot of fun after I made the third one but easy nevertheless. I made 6 different types:

If you want to make any of them, just follow the steps after the jump.
You will need:

• Felt
• Scissors
• Glue gun
• White glue
• Water
• Ribbon
• Glitter
• Accessories
• Peter-pan Collar template {you can draw your own or, like I did, get this one from Fashionrolla}

 1. Black with white crosses:

• Start by cutting a peter-pan collar shape out of black felt and put the aside.
• Grab some white felt and start cutting little crosses. This will take you some time so be patience.
• After you have all the crosses cut out, start laying them on top of the black pieces of felt.
• Once layout, start gluing each cross.
• Gather your two pieces and glue them together.
• Cut two pieces of ribbon of the same length and glue them to the top side of each piece of felt.

2. Red chain:

• Start by cutting a peter-pan collar shape out of red felt and, instead of leaving the oval shape at the end, cut them in a triangle like shape.
• Glue your two pieces together and glue some red ribbon on top.
• After that, get some chain and glue it to the two ends of the triangle shape.
• Add some beads on top of the chain to cover it.

3-4. Yellow/ Red glitter:

• For 3-4 is basically the same procedure.
• Start by cutting a peter-pan collar shape out of yellow/ red and put the aside.
• Mix white glue and water in a container and apply it to the two pieces of felt.
• While they are still wet, add some glitter to the pieces and let it dry. 
• Once they are dry, apply a layer of the glue-water mix to prevent glitter to get all over your clothes.
• After they are dry, glue the two pieces together and attached the ribbons with glue.

5. Honestly...WTF:
This one is actually just a variant from this tutorial by Honestly...WTF. You can head to their page and they have all the instruction on how to make one.

6. Black with studs:

• Start by cutting a peter-pan collar shape out of black felt.
• Gather your two pieces and glue them together.
• Get a couple of pyramid studs and put them on the two pieces of felt.
• Glue two pieces of ribbon.

Just let your creative self experiment. You can change the colors, add different accessories, mix some and so much more. Have fun!
